MHL purchases subscriptions to many different databases containing magazine and journal articles, as well as the text of reference books.  Many are accessible from home.  Here are some of our most popular:

  • Ancestry Library
    Search for your ancestors, check U.S. Census Records, Birth/Marriage/Death records, and more (in-library access only).
  • Consumer Reports Online
    1,000+ Ratings, reviews, expert buying advice, product comparisons, consumer user reviews, and product video clips from ConsumerReports.org.
  • General Reference Center
    Full-text magazines, newspapers & reference books containing information on current events, popular culture, the arts and sciences, sports, etc.  
  • Legal Forms Library
    Thousands of official, state specific, federal, business, personal, real estate and general forms covering hundreds of legal subjects and issues.
  • Morningstar Online
    Information on more than 30,000 stocks, mutual funds, and exchange-traded funds.
  • Value Line
    Current and historical reviews, price and earnings projections, and analyst commentaries on approximately 1,700 of the most actively traded stocks, in over 90 industries.
