Curious about 3D design for 3D printing? We'll get you started by showing you the basics on Tinkercad, a free online 3D design platform. Learn how to manipulate and combine shapes to create 3D designs which can later be 3D printed. Attendees should have familiarity with basic computer functions and a sense of what 3D printing is. Due to the nature of 3D printing, any designs created during the program that are to be printed will be printed by staff and can be picked up later at the Reference Desk. Space is limited.
Please meet at the Reference Desk on the 1st floor. Because of the nature of this program, we cannot guarantee late arrivals will be able to participate.
