Bonne Chance Miss Kim!

Miss Kim

Memorial Hall Library will soon be saying au revoir to Children’s Librarian Miss Kim! After twelve and a half wonderful years with us, she will be moving on to work for her family’s business. Please know Miss Kim will sorely miss all of the dear “chickadees” who attended her story times, both in person and (most recently) virtually, plus her Night Readers, Picture Book Pals, Coloring and Card Making groups, and “Reading with Annie” crew. Miss Kim has watched many of them grow up over the years and it has given her great joy. Another joy for her has been spearheading the Summer Reading Program (SRP) our Children’s Room has each year. Miss Kim loved to see children get excited about books, reading, and reaching their SRP goals! Most of all, Miss Kim will miss sitting at the Children’s Room Reference Desk. It was there that she could do what she loved best: answer questions, suggest great books, and get to know you, our awesome patrons. We will officially bid Miss Kim a fond adieu on her last day, Tuesday, December 22nd. We know you will miss her as much as we will.
