Peking and the Mystics: Vintage Vocals

Sunday, October 20, 2019 - 2:30pm

Enjoy an afternoon of 'Vintage Vocals' performed by the a cappella group, Peking and the Mystics.

Formed by alumni of Tufts University and its a cappella singing group, the Beelzebubs, Peking and the Mystics has toured nationally and internationally, including trips to the Far East and South America. They've recorded four albums, appeared on television and radio, and in print media. The group's eclectic repertoire, comprising original arrangements by PATM members themselves, features vintage vocals from such genres as swing, jazz, doo wop and pop music, representing every decade from the 1930s to the 2000s.

The members of Peking and the Mystics are Gene Blake, of Andover, on tenor 2; Andrew Cranin, of Brewster, on baritone 1; Chris Parker, of Ipswich, on bass; David Pratt, of Wellesley, on tenor 1, and Tim Vaill, of Andover, on baritone 2.
