Too Human: A Celebration of Song - The Great American Songbook and Beyond

Sunday, September 15, 2019 - 2:30pm

When Too Human performs, it’s hard not to get drawn in. Their program includes jazz standards from the American Songbook and original songs performed with vocals, guitar, percussion and upright bass. Former professional songwriters in LA, their songs have been covered by Cher, Pat Benatar, Teddy Pendergrass, Nancy Wilson and Ramsey Lewis. They’ve opened for Janis Ian, Livingston Taylor, Les Sampou and many others. Composers for independent films, their fresh and innovative arrangements appeal to a wide audience. Roger Bruno and Ellen Schwartz will be accompanied by Keala Kaumeheiwa on upright bass.

This program is sponsored in part by a grant from the Andover Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
