StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to wooden stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story.
For our downtown StoryWalk®, The Wish Tree by Kyo Maclear, we chose to put the pages in business windows for everyone to enjoy.
We thank the participating Andover Businesses, Ann Ormond, Monica Gregoire and Paul Materazzo of the Department of Community Development and Planning, Justin Coppola of the Commission on Disabilities, Library staff Linda Murphy, Laura McVeigh, and Molly McIntyre, and the Friends of Memorial Hall Library for helping bring this to our community!
