Read Together: Dragons

Cute dragon

This new program is a chance to share some stories as a family then make something with an idea provided by our librarians.  Read Together is for families with all ages as we will suggest a couple of books for different reading levels.  Or, parents can choose to read the books aloud to kids.  For example this month is Dragons.  We are suggesting two books, one is the picture book Dragons get colds too by Rebecca Roan, the other an older novel, How to train your dragon by Cressida Cowell.  The latter is also available as a movie too, which would make a great selection for a Family Movie Night!  Once you request the books and/or movie let the Children's Room staff know and we will give you the printout of the craft to do together at home.
