If you are looking for a reason to walk downtown this month check out our latest StoryWalk® based on William's Winter Nap by Linda Ashman, pictures by Chuck Groenink.
StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Owner/Creator Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT developed StoryWalk® in collaboration with Rachel Senechal, formerly of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to wooden stakes, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you're directed to the next page in the story. For our downtown StoryWalk® look for the pages in the windows of participating businesses. Maps of the route and accessible text can be found through a QR code at the beginning of the walk at the front of the library. Comments or photos of your family enjoying this StoryWalk® may be sent to Cr@mhl.org.
