Open House honoring Children’s Librarian Kate Dugan
All are welcome to stop by on June 1st to wish Miss Kate a Happy Retirement. Kate Dugan joined the staff at Memorial Hall Library in 1984 so she has read to and recommended books to children and families for almost 40 years! Stop by between 10am-12pm or 4-6pm to say goodbye for now!
Books for Fans of American Born Chinese
Gene Luen Yang's classic graphic novel American Born Chinese has recently been adapted into a series for Disney+. (If you don't have access to Disney+ and want to watch the show, you can request the library's Roku with Disney+ access.) If you're a fan of the book and/or the show, you might also like these graphic novels that explore different cultural identities.

May 2023 Mid-Month Sudoku
This month’s Sudoku comes out in May, and true to their name, the Mayapples outside the library have begun to bloom. These native perennials are unique in that they only have one or two leaves and (if they do have two leaves instead of one) only one flower.
