Original Art at MHL
The Memorial Hall Library collection includes art in a broad range of two and three-dimensional works that are both historic and contemporary and produced in a variety of styles and media by international, national, and local artists.
Art has always been an integral element of this library building, reflected in its architecture and interior spaces. Art further expands the library’s informational assets. It allows the viewer to visually integrate information, i.e., the appreciation of color, form or image, blending with the intellectual exercise of making sense of the work within the viewer’s own experience.
When you visit the library, please take the opportunity to enjoy our collection! Art is everywhere you look. (Click here to see current and past artists of the month.)
