Birdscaping Your Backyard

Birdscaping Your Backyard
Saturday, April 20, 2024 - 2:00pm

Step up your game and attract more birds and more species of birds to your backyard.

In this presentation learn about various feeder types, food types, and the importance of natural live and dead cover for birds. Diversifying your backyard with food, cover and water will have the birds in your yard ... and not your neighbor's yard.

Steve Hale, owner of Open World Explorers, holds university degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology. An avid hiker, birder, and experienced naturalist, he loves to share his experience and knowledge with others. Steve continues to hike and birdwatch in northern New England, from the NH Seacoast where he lives to the mountains where he plays. Steve formed Open World Explorers in April 2016 to more fully share his knowledge and experience in ecology, ornithology, and Earth science to help others find personal value in the natural history and landscape of the area.
