January 2026 Puzzle: Never too late to get published
Happy New Year! If you have a story in you that you've been meaning to write and have resolved to make this year the year to get it done, take inspiration from the theme of this month's crossword. It is full of examples of famous authors who didn't get published until relatively late in life. If one of your new year's resolutions is to learn or do something new, here are some ways the library can help:

November 2025 Mid-Month Sudoku
Dear sudoku solvers: With this month’s puzzle, we highlight a curious thing about the number nine, which as you know occurs in every sudoku puzzle exactly nine times. Take any whole number (other than zero) and multiply it by 9. Then add up all of the digits. If the sum is greater than nine, then add up all of its digits, and so on. Eventually you will get a sum of 9.
