July 2024 Puzzle: Good Sports
Without revealing too much about the theme in this month's crossword (okay—it has to do with sports), we want to remind readers that your Andover library card gives you full access to The Athletic, a sport journalism website that provides national and local coverage of more than a thousand teams across North America and the UK. While the Athletic has thousands of articles, dozens of podcasts, and a handful of email newsletters, the feature most people use its app, which can be personalized to send push notifications on whatever teams and topics interest you. Check it out by visiting https://mhl.org/nyt! We hope your enjoy this month's puzzle!

From the Page to the Stage
Each year, the American Theater Wing presents the Tony Awards to honor the best of Broadway. This year the award for Best New Musical went to The Outsiders, based on the classic novel by S.E. Hinton. It was a big year for stage adaptations of books--here are some of the books that inspired some of this year's nominees. And if you'd rather listen than read, you can listen to some Broadway cast recordings--including this year's winner for Best Revival of a Musical, Merrily We Roll Along and also this year's winner for Best Play, Stereophonic--on MHL's music service Freegal.
