in What's Happening
It's National Library Week! National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities. We're so lucky in Andover and the greater Merrimack Valley to have patrons who are passionate about reading, borrowing, and all that libraries offer. To celebrate National Library week, here are some things happening at MHL throughout the week:
- Take our National Library Week quiz.
- Stop by on Monday morning for snacks provided by the Friends of MHL and learn about becoming a member.
- Join our Eclipse viewing party on Monday, April 8 starting at 3 pm to view the eclipse and don't let censorship eclipse your freedom to read!
- Visit the Tiny Art Show exhibition on Level 1, starting Monday, April 8 and running for the rest of the month.
- Make a cute bee bookmark in the Children's Room that says, "The Library is the place to BEE!"
- The project of the month in the Makerspace is a fabric keychain.
- Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for some fun throwback pictures of the library throughout history with some special surprises!
