Mark Davis (born 1954) is a Boston-area scultor and mobile designer. Educated at Goddard College in Vermont, he began making jewelry in his teens and describes his metalwork as self taught. Inspired by nature as well as artists such as Henri Matisse, Alexander Calder, Isamu Noguchi and Joan Miro, Davis's hanging, wall-mounted and free-standing mobiles incorporate abstract, organic shapes that emphasize color, playfulness and change.
Mark Davis' work can be seen in many public collections around the country including the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, MA and at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.
