On Monday, June 5 at 10am, staff librarian, Theo Kontos, will teach you what to look for in a new computer, go over some of the parts of the computer, and touch briefly on upgrading/repairing the machine you have. He’ll discuss what ram does and how much you need, the difference between a hard drive and solid state drive, cloud storage, dvd and bluray drives, display resolution, operating systems and the various ports you may find on a new computer (USB, Ethernet, and HDMI; oh my!). Space is limited. Sign up online. Meets in the Activity Room.
