Facts and Figures

On Thursday, April 7 at 10am, retired Boxford resident, John Plate, will facilitate a discussion about electing a United States President in 2016. The discussion outline (distributed at the program) will focus on the constitutional framework and the political party and electoral college process leading to the election of a President this year, with some reference to historical experience. Plate studied at Columbia University, and held positions at The Asia Foundation in San Francisco and Sri Lanka, served on the President's Council on Youth Opportunity in Washington, DC, and worked at The United Nations Secretariat in New York and Vienna, Austria.
