Library through the lens

As part of the library's 150th anniversary celebrations, the library held a photography contest featuring images taken in or around the library.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our photography contest. We had over 40 entries from community members featuring the library inside and out.

The votes have been counted and we have three winners:

Rules and Submission Guidelines:

  • Up to 3 entries per person
  • An entry form must accompany each submission
  • Entries must be on printed on paper between 5"X7" and 8"X10" to fit in acrylic frames in the library's display
  • Photos must include some aspect of MHL, either inside or outside of the building, in some way. Be creative!
  • All entries must be unpublished, original, and the work of the person who submits it
  • If the photo includes people, it is the responsibility of the photographer to ensure they have permission for the photo to be displayed
  • Photographers retain copyright of the photos, but by submitting a photo you are agreeing to let MHL display and use your photo online, in person, or in print.
