Remembering bell hooks

bell hooks, the groundbreaking Black feminist writer and scholar (who intentionally spelled her name in lowercase letters to convey that her ideas were more important than her name), died on December 15th, 2021. Known for communicating complex ideas in a clear, accessible fashion, hooks inspired a generation of writers, scholars, and artists. She wrote a wide variety of topics, including children's books.
