On Saturday, October 15 at 9:30am, a panel of tree experts will discuss pests and diseases that threaten trees in our landscapes and forests. After a summer of extreme drought, we will consider the ways we can prepare stressed trees for the winter storms ahead and the insect challenges they face next spring and summer. The panel includes Andover's DPW Deputy Director, Marc Fournier, Tree Warden, Paul Sanborn, as well as Ken Gooch, DCR Forest Health Program Director, and Ryan Kress, a National Grid arborist. There will be plenty of time for questions. RSVP online. This program is a collaboration of the LWV of Andover/North Andover, the Andover Seed Library and the Town of Andover.
