When a person has a cardiac arrest, survival depends on immediately receiving CPR from someone nearby. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival.
Watch a short video about Hands-Only CPR, and have a chance to practice compressions, ask questions, and get feedback on your technique.
**This is not a CPR certification course. Hands-Only CPR is a natural introduction to CPR, and the American Heart Association encourages everyone to learn conventional CPR as a next step.
