Join in with others from your community to explore the value and benefits of happiness.
After building careers and/or raising families, many people at midlife and beyond are asking, “What’s next?” No longer content with simply “retiring,” many want to discover ways to live a meaningful, happy life, full of possibility.
In this interactive program, attendees will share what made them happy at various stages of their lives. All will have an opportunity to take a happiness survey assessing their current state of happiness.
Acknowledging that at any age we can all be “happier,” participants will complete their own happiness prescription.
Join us to share insights and learn from each other in a guided breakout session. Considering how happiness can relate to being connected to others, reflect on how civic engagement, whether for pay or as a volunteer, can be an important part of their happiness.
Also learn about the Discovery Center for Civic Engagement through the Robb Center. Explore how you can increase happiness by applying your time and talents to meet social needs through civic engagement, locally in your community.
This program is a collaboration between MHL, the Robb Center and the Discovery Center for Civic Engagement.
