Visit the library for an afternoon of acoustic guitar music from the 60s & 70s.
Joe Leary shares a solo acoustic guitar and vocal performance of the music from some of the well-known singer-songwriters of the 60s & 70s (James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffet, Jim Croce, John Denver, Neil Diamond, Gordon Lightfoot, etc...).
The inspirations, anecdotal stories and background histories of these musical artist's will be presented throughout the performance.
A graduate of Berklee College of Music and an accomplished music educator, Joe Leary has spent the past 45 years of his life dedicated to the music education of children as well as adults in both the public and private sectors. Joe continues to maintain an active performing schedule throughout the Greater Boston and New England area with his original music, acoustic classic covers and Irish/Celtic music.
